This week signalled a global gathering in each of the Talmix hubs around the world, where we celebrated a successful year, and took the opportunity to get to know our Consultant community even more.
From Singapore to San Francisco, Talmix invited members of the independent consultant community to join us at various Christmas gatherings, and meet the people behind the platform.
The Singapore team kicked off their event at the Lantern Rooftop Bar, of the prestigious Fullerton Bay Hotel. A great group of Consultants joined us with specialist expertise ranging from lean six sigma to oil & gas M&A, right through to HR specialists. The event gave us the perfect opportunity to learn more about the independent consulting space within the Singapore market and were encouraged by the feedback from all those who attended who actively use the platform to augment their own business development activities.
Following the Singapore team closely, the team in Düsseldorf kicked their Christmas event off at the Riva Lounge Bar & Restaurant. The same connecting theme was raised at the German leg of the Global Christmas parties - and that is the importance of being able to connect with people face-to-face, where a good digital relationship already exists. And we believe that events like these, give our clients and consultants the perfect opportunity to understand more about who we are, learn more about the driving force behind what we do, and establish even stronger relationships for the long-run.
Once the Düsseldorf party was underway, it was London's turn to turn up the celebrations, and that we did. Nestled in the heart of the City at Balls Brothers in Mark Lane, we had the opportunity to meet with a huge group of independent consultants - many of whom we'd met at previous consultant get-togethers, and but many new faces to meet and get to know. Once again, we took the great opportunity to understand key challenges our Consultants face in their working lives and how we can facilitate their career prospects and help them develop their independent portfolios even more.
And finally, the San Francisco team kicked off their Christmas party not too long after, at the S&R Lounge in Hotel Zetta - a boutique hotel in the trendy SoMa neighbourhood. A wonderful mix of new and established consultants provided the perfect opportunity to share project stories and tips on how to improve their own personal portfolio activity and generate more awareness of their skills and expertise.
"I was very impressed with everyone I met. I look forward to staying connected and seeing what great things come as Talmix expands on the West Coast."
Events like these are run with a purpose - to meet and get to know our consultant community even more, understand what drives them, learn about how we can improve to serve them better and provide an opportunity for them to network, build relationships and solidify their independent careers. But they would be fruitless without the involvement of each and everyone that attends. Whether you live around the corner in London, or whether you have to travel 140 kilometres each way in Germany, to be there, we appreciate each and every one of you that took time out of your busy schedules to come and celebrate a wonderful year with us.
We wish all of you who attended, and those who didn't have the opportunity this time around, a wonderful festive season, and a successful 2018.
